Referrals & Fees

Fees for 2023 are $210.00 for 50 minutes*

(please also allow an additional 5 minutes at the end of your appointment to arrange payment and rescheduling).

Fees are paid at the end of each session by direct debit or credit card and, if eligible, your Medicare Rebate can also be processed at this time.

*Session fees are below the Australian Psychological Society’s recommended rate for a standard consultation, which for 2023-2024 is $300.00 per session.

Cancellation Policy:

You can reschedule your appointment via email, phone, or text. You will receive a text message reminding you about your appointment a few days prior.

We greatly appreciate as much notice as possible if you need to reschedule. This allows us to offer you another appointment as soon as is convenient for you, reducing any gap you may have in your treatment. It also means we can offer your appointment to others. If you need to reschedule due to illness, we ask you to consider switching your appointment to Telehealth, provided you are feeling well enough, and this is a suitable option for your circumstances.

  • Cancellations more than 2 days before your appointment will not incur a fee as this allows us time to reschedule your appointment and fill your spot.

  • Cancellations earlier than 12pm on the day before your appointment will incur a cancellation fee of $70.

  • Cancellation after 12pm on the day before your appointment, or non-attendance, will incur the full fee of your consultation ($210.00).

Please be aware that you will not be eligible to claim a Medicare Rebate for cancellations or non-attendance.  All cancellation fees need to be paid prior to attending your next appointment.

We thank you for your assistance and understanding in this matter. Please raise any concerns or questions you may have with your psychologist.

Mental Health Care Plans:
You may be eligible for a rebate under a Mental Health Care Plan. Please discuss this with your GP. We recommend scheduling a longer GP appointment as a standard 15-minute consultation may not be enough time for your GP to complete the assessment.

The Medicare rebate from July 1st 2023 is $92.90 for up to 10 sessions across a calendar year. These may be in person or Telehealth, or a combination of both. Your psychologist is required by Medicare to report to your referring GP at various points across the course of this treatment. This can be discussed further when booking in, or during your first session.
